My angel Linda loves older dogs like me. I'm 10 years old and still have many years ahead to share with a new family. WHS knows that not everyone wants a puppy and the adoption counselors will find me a great new home! |

It might look like I'm missing my fur and that's because I am! I'm a Chinese Crested breed and we have fur on a few spots, but far less than other dogs. It's not unusual to find a pure bred dog at a humane society. About 25% of the dogs at WHS and OHS are pure bred dogs! Thanks to great friends like Chavella, we all get fantastic care! |

The lifesaving programs at the Wisconsin Humane Society are funded 100% by individual contributions from people like Scot & Sarah who love animals. Please consider giving through your estate plans to help abandoned animals. Your promise of a gift tomorrow will allow us to thank you today with a membership in our Buster's Legacy Club.
Your generous contribution will help:
- Provide lifesaving opportunities for animals;
- Impact our community by creating a safer place for people and animals;
- Strengthen the human-animal bond; and
- Assure that the Wisconsin Humane Society can continue to help animals in need.

Did you know that
although more than 10 billion farm animals are raised and slaughtered in the United States each year, no federal law regulates their treatment while they're on the farm? The Farm Animal Stewardship Purchasing Act would require producers selling eggs, meats and dairy products to meet basic animal welfare standards for products sold to federal programs, such as the military, federal prisons and school lunches. Although these guidelines are modest, they would address the most inhumane practices and would help millions of animals.

This offer only applies to small animals who are currently housed together. Additionally, purchase a complete gently-used aquarium or bird cage set-up for $15, while supplies last and we'll waive the entire adoption fee!
