Poster, Photo & Poetry Winners

Be Kind to Animals Week is the first week in May. It was started in 1915 by the American Humane Association and serves as a reminder of the debt humankind owes to animals, both wild and companion.

Every year, the Wisconsin Humane Society sponsors a poster contest in which local children illustrate ways to be kind to animals. Below are some of the winning posters and photos for this year.

Don't forget to take a look at the 2008 winners of the BKA poetry contest.
