CALENDAR OF EVENTS LISTING

MILWAUKEE ? Did you ever consider using essential oils on your companion animal to help with minor ailments? If so, you are encouraged to attend an Aromatherapy and Pets Seminar on Thursday, October 19, 2006 from
7 ? 8 p.m. at the Wisconsin Humane Society, 4500 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Milwaukee. Learn how to recognize what oils your cat or dog may respond to as well as appropriate and safe use for minor ailments such as skin conditions and allergies. You will also learn how to use oils in trauma, abuse or neglect cases. The seminar will also include a discussion of some of the popular and safe essential oils for these conditions. The use of aromatherapy is not a substitute for veterinary care, but to augment care for selected conditions. There is a $10 fee for this class; to register, call (414) 431-6156 or visit www.wihumane.org.
