CALENDAR OF EVENTS LISTING

 

MILWAUKEE – Calling All Teachers! Teachers are invited to join the Wisconsin and Ozaukee Humane Society Education Staff on Thursday, March 22nd from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30p.m. at WHS for a FREE two-hour informative workshop, Teaching Empathy in the Classroom, about the role humane education has in building empathy in the classroom. Building empathy in youth is vital in creating compassionate adults and in creating a more caring and respectful classroom. Humane education is uniquely aligned with character education and empathy building. Learn how to use humane education to develop empathy in your students and to create a caring classroom.
