CALENDAR OF EVENTS LISTING
Oh Baby! It's an orphaned wildlife Baby Shower!
MILWAUKEE - Many baby wild animals have been orphaned this spring and the Wisconsin Humane Society is throwing them a baby shower. The shower is an annual event to help collect supplies and raise funds for all of the wild animals we have in rehabilitation. Come watch baby animals being fed in our Nursery and enjoy some baked goodies for yourself, too!
What: Baby Shower for orphaned baby wild animals being raised at the Wisconsin Humane Society’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Gifts are encouraged.
Where: Wisconsin Humane Society’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, 4500 West Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53208.
When: Friday, June 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. No R.S.V.P. is required.
Why: The Wisconsin Humane Society and their Wildlife Rehabilitation Center are funded entirely through donations. Last year, the Center treated about 5,000 wild animals and about 60 percent of them were orphaned babies.
