CALENDAR OF EVENTS LISTING

MILWAUKEE – Do you know how to protect your pooch in an emergency? Learn how at a Pet First Aid class at the Wisconsin Humane Society, 4500 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee.  The class will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  Advance registration is required. There is a $40.00 fee for this class which includes a Pet First Aid book. The class will be presented by Dr. Ron Beatty, owner of My Pet’s Vet. Instruction will cover CPR, recognizing and treating shock, seizure, poisoning, heatstroke, hypothermia and other common conditions affecting our animals. Every animal guardian should know what to do in an emergency medical situation.
